My hedgie has green, sticky, slimy poops. They are the consistency of the feet on those little wall-walker toys. I think what started as a little green last week has turned into a lot of green during the past 2 days. Good thing she has a vet appointment tomorrow! I kept a "freshie" just in case. Good thing I didn't cancel the appointment!

My hedgehog has had this problem happen to her twice before. Both times she needed antibiotics (chicken flavoured) to treat a bacterial infection. When she finished those we gave her some probiotics from the vet. This happened when she was younger - she is very healthy now.

Good to hear that! Just to clear things up, I know I said I sat on my hedgehog by accident lol, but that was Sweet Pea (R.I.P... not from me sitting on her, she lived almost 6 years, 4-5 years after I sat on her :O). Mika is the one goin to the vet today. I hope they have chickun-flayvored medicine there lol. Nothing wrenches my heart more than seeing a hedgie throw up. Except the hedgehog death-scream. Nah, hedgehog vomiting is worse I think. Anyways, thanks for the support and help!

I injected Baytril into canned crickets with an insulin syringe for 10 days. It worked a charm especially considering Baytril is one of most nasty things known to mankind. I have also been told not all hedgehogs will fall for this trick.
