Great vet visit

Ender is 4 months and 10 days old today. I decided to take him to the vet to get a "well-hedgie" checkup. I just wanted to make sure I was doing a good job.

I was told by the vet and the tech that he was one of the friendiest hedgehogs they'd seen. He was willing to be handled and didn't roll up on them. This was after being at work all day with me and visiting with folks in the morning and putting up with the horrid construction noise (they decided to drill into concrete today)

I just have to add more veggies and break down on the bugs.

Anyway, yay me!

My favorite part? When Ender let his feelings be known about having his heart listened to by peeing and pooping on his hidey-towel. I was talking to the vet and looked down to see him taking up "the stance" with the top half covered by the towel.

That is really wonderful! So glad to hear it!
My little guy Chester Tiddly Winks is about 4 months now too and he went to the vet 2 days ago for his first check up too! (my kids would say Ender and Chester are twins LOL) he did ball once briefly but quickly went to explore. The vet said he rarely even sees their faces since most hedgies ball up and hide the whole time. So Ender is certainly a rockstar!!
