I have a flying saucer wheel and have always loved it for my hedehog, but some nights it squeeks very loudly when she runs on it... but not every night

has anyone else had this? I know that its the wheel making the noise, so how do i stop it?

I've never had a problem with the wheel squeaking.

I use veritable oil to grease my mouses wheel but I'm not sure if that is ok to use for hedgehogs.

You can use olive oil to help with the squeaking, just take the wheel off and drip a little bit into the white piece on the back.

olive oil is a good idea, I was also thinking about using vaseline (petrolium jelly). Not like jelly bean could ever get to it... but is vaseline safe for hedgehogs? I dont remember seeing it on the toxic list

Yes Vaseline is safe if they lick it. It's what I use on wheels. :)
