When you're looking at a bag of dry food, what would the ideal or max be that you want for fiber? Is there a max? I know more fiber is better, which is why sometimes dog foods are better than cat foods, but how much would be too much? I was just curious about it, because the Chicken Soup brand tends to have about 8% or so (in both cat food and dog food), where a lot of others that I looked at had between 2 and 4%. I'm sure that level can be higher when it comes to other foods. Is there a standard good amount, or a cutoff amount?

Actually you want to aim for about 15%. Since no commercially available food contains this much a lot of hedgie people add Grape-Nuts cereal, infant rice cereal, milled golden flaxseed meal etc. to there hedgies mix. I use Grape-nuts. My hedgies eats very little of it but they do eat some. I may try the rice cereal and see if they like that better.
