Hello I have owned several hedgehogs over the course of the past 10 years and one of mine is doing something none of them have ever done before. I have one of the reservoir water dishes in with her and for the past week or so she has been chewing on part of it pretty bad to the point where the plastic is starting to get scratched. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it normal? If bad, what can I do to prevent this?

Its definitely not normal or a good thing.
It could damage teeth and if the plastic gets worse she could end up ingesting some which is bad.

Never seen this before so I have no idea, maybe you could take her to the vet and see if there is anything bothering her health wise?

Switching to a ceramic bowl might be a good idea
