Love this idea! Might have to try that down the road when Rowdy's more bonded....although he did let me cut his nails on the back paws today. Didn't cooperate with his front

Im new to the Hedgie world and have only had my Herbert for just over a week now.He has 1 weird or deformed toe on 3 out of 4 feet. Hopefully he is ok but Im sure it is probably do to a previous pet store trimming. They don't seem to bother him at all but still...

Is there somewhere that you can get a nail clipper like that? A pet supply store? I was told to use a normal nail clipper, but I've got a little squirmier on my hands and I don't want to hit her quick!
Thank you!
Hey Melissa, This is Mercedes :) Cool, that I found you on here. Those Nail Clippers are actually sold for humans and I use them all the time too. I like to use regular ones for the animals but thats just my style. You can get those clippers at Walmart in the Nail isle, Health Stores as well. You should be able to find them somewhere :)

I do this too! And it works like a charm. Except my baby boy is a fast eater so I could maybe get only three nails cut before he decides to go back into his hide to sleep. I basically just wait till he wakes up for food again to do it OTL

I think if I tried to do this with Link or Navi, they would find a way to hold a gun, shoot me then not eat for a week out of protest. lol They have never gotten any better about nail trims no matter what I try to do... Such is the life of a hedgie owner.
