so I am probably the worst person at sewing ever so I decided I would make liners out of fleece, like this...

it was so simple you just cut and tie, and they look really cute!!
& june bug loves them!!

Cute. I like fleece in that you don't have to sew at all, that's the beauty of it. But if you are wanting the decorative front/back look then that's the way to go, yup. I have a few human blankets made that way but for the hedgies I just use the squares of fleece, no sewing needed.

That's how I made a cover that goes over my hedgie's entire house (wire-top, plastic bottom). I cut holes out for light, heat, and ventilation.

Hadn't thought about it for the inside of her house though.
