Hi there! :) Just wanted to ask a quick question about a dry cat food mix. All I've got right now, is a 7 lb. bag of Blue Spa Select Weight Control. I haven't had time to purchase anything else, seeing as how I've just gotten back to Gainesville and classes have just started; but I was thinking of mixing in Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul. The only thing is, I realized that both have the same first ingredients. Assuming the point of a mix is to get a different variety of proteins and the like for our hedgehogs, should I opt for something else? And if so, could anyone give me a good dry cat food that doesn't have Deboned Chicken and Chicken Meal as the first two ingredients, and that follow the minimum fat and protein guidelines? Thanks!

Many cat foods start out with chicken, its hard to find others sometimes. I started adding Fromm to my hedgehogs mix back in November. My hedgehogs love it. It has a small size and the first ingredient is fresh Wisconsin duck. http://www.frommfamily.com/products-g-c-mature.php

I think Innova has Turkey as its first ingredient http://www.innovapet.com/product_line.asp?id=1407.

Look through the list of foods pinned to the top of the diet section and look for foods that have a variety to them.
