I was told you only have to clip the back nails but I am having a hard time believing this. Can anyone inform me of the true answer so I don't end up hurting the baby.
Hmm... that's how I clip my hedgie's nails... when she's in a ball. I have her out, I put a kitchen towel over her, roll her into a ball with her tummy side up, place the handtowel/hedgie ball hedgie on my lap (the towel protects my legs from quill pokes), she relaxes a bit, extends a leg or two, then I hold onto a foot and clip front and back nails. Some nights I'm lucky to get just one nail, but usually, she'll let me get them all.Morel3etterness said:I cannot even get near the front bc he balls right up.
