So, though I am still trying to convince my mom to let me get a hedgehog 
, I have decided to start planning. My friend has extra C&C cubes she is going to give me and I already have my personal stock of fleece blankets to use for liners. Ok, so this is how I was thing of designing the cage-
Build an open-topped box with 2 panels on each side to make a square. I would have the igloo in one corner and the food and water bowls under some small cutouts of plastic for easy cleanup. I would have some plastic along the side to the hedgie cannot get out through the gaps or climb it. I would have the wheel and litter pan in the corner opposite the igloo and I would have toys in the cage so he/she can occupy himself/herself if I have to take the wheel out for some reason (ex. cut feet).
And to continue to bore you, I placed this next...
Daily-
-Change litter
-Refill and clean food and water bowls
-Clean wheel
-Social Time (mainly after school and in the evenings when he/she will be active)
