Here are some other bedding options off the top of my head: pine shavings, aspen shavings, paper shavings, paper pellots, flannel, fleece, wood pellots, dust free non-clumping cat litter, baby crib liner, custom cage liners, and fluffy bedding like Carefresh. I have also heard of people using puppy pee pads and newspaper but these are not the safest. I personally use fleece but I understand not all are comfortable washing the fleece in the same place we wash our clothes.
Did Kaytee Clean and Cozy bedding change?

I have been using Kaytee Clean and Cozy bedding (in white) for as long as I have had Ed- so for nearly two years now. It's always worked well and I've never run into any problems. I noticed about 6 months ago when I bought a new package of it, it seems the "formula" has changed. The bedding seems softer which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I think it might be a little "dustier." Tiny particles from the bedding stick to his wheel on his poop. He sneezes every so often, but not enough that has been concerning to me.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this change and if so, what is a good alternative? (Fleece isn't really a great option, I'm a student who lives with two roommates who are strangers).
