So I took Emmy to the vet yesterday, for the runny nose, and he sedated her to help figure out what's wrong.
Anyway, she had diarrhea last night and I was wondering if the sedation or the stress of yesterday might have caused this. Could any of this be the cause of the diarrhea?

I don't know if the sedation could cause diarrhea, but I know that stress can.

I'd give her some unsweetened pumpkin or some other aid for the GI tract. I use bene-bac. It's beneficial bacteria (a probiotic for animals) and it comes in a gel or a powder. I got the jar of powder at PetCo and it'll last a lot longer than the gel. You can usually find it in the bottle feeding/weaning section for dogs and kittens or the small animal section.
