Sorry you are having a lousy time right now but life is like a rollercoaster sometimes so if you are down you can look forward to the up 
I know how disappointing it can be when you are looking forward to getting something at a certain time but everything happens for a reason and it may be that there is another hedgie you are meant to get. Plus you will have the extra time until then to get all the details ironed out and to pick up some more things you will need.
My intentions when I post is never to be mean but to share the information I have from researching and from the experiences I've had with my own hedgehog so that it might help someone else.
