I'm usually gone from home 7 am to 10 pm on most weekdays from school and work. ZoZo sleeps in my room and so whenever I have the light on, he'll think it's day. I don't want the light disturbing his sleeping schedule, so how am I able to have him sleep during day and awake during the night when I stay up most of my night to do everything else I need, but keep his sleeping schedule correct?
It's easily done if he needs only a few hours awake.. so my main is question is how long do hedgehogs need to be awake and need to sleep?

Because he's a baby, I assume he's going to sleep most of the time anyways...

It kind of helps as you said don't stress for little more light.. However he's probably going to end up getting more light when I have school come back again, (fall break) and work. If I turn on the light for 7am-10pm, that's already 14 hours. I stay up until 12, which would make it 16 hours of lights. Would this be alright? Light Lamp or not, 10-12am he's probably going to have light from me being in my room as well. My light also doesn't have the technology to just dim them.. lol

During that time, I could cover a towel of half of his cage and block light from the TV, so I won't have to use my main light. Would this be possible?
