i have a female hedgehog and i know corncob can be bad for males but would it be an okay thing to put in my females litter box?

No. It's not safe for females either. It also can have sharp pieces and it doesn't absorb anything. There are safer and better choices.

Search "fleece liners". They are the best! They are safe health-wise, inexpensive, comfortable for hedgie, and look nice.
