there any possible that i can produced a pinto hedgehog.even the parents or ancestor have no pinto bloodlines?

for example snowflakes and albino parent can i produce a pinto pattern? because in the philippines i cannot find a pinto hedgehog. pls help

I am not a specialist ,but if your littles ones don't have Pinto in their lineage you probably can't have any Pintos in you're litter ,,,,cause it's a pattern in the gene ,,,you need it to produce it ,,,,

That said, however, Pinto is a dominant gene, so if you have one pinto parent, you can produce at least 25% pinto offspring. But yes, you do need at least one pinto parent or 2 hedgehogs that are heterozygous for pinto in order to produce pinto offspring

I would like to ask a question about that subject.

If I have a pinto, but the pinto spot is verry small and the other lineage of the other parents have pinto as well, could I have babies with big spots or it will be small spots?? (I don't know If I'm clear... :? )

Hummm... I think that it will produce some little pinto spots... Maybe bigger than the parents, but not a tobiano! ;) This is what I think, but I'm eager to hear the answer two!
