Chuzzle will be 12 weeks old on Sunday. Can you help with his color? Some lights change the darkness and his eyes look deep red in the light and in the camera flash as well. His skin below the colored quills is almost pink. I have him pictured alone and then with a chocolate chip pinto that is 1 year old. Picture with 3 hedgies is him with a 5 month old dark gray pinto, the chocolate chip pinto.

Thank you.

These two show his nose looking darker.

I'm gonna guess Algerian Brown Snowflake Pinto. They are all very cute, especially the Alg. Chocolate pinto. :)

Thank you guys. I thought maybe that but wasn't sure since the skin on shoulder is very pink and his eyes look dark red but may just be the light.

I love him whatever color but was needing to know what to put on registration.
Thanks again.

If you haven't looked at this yet, http://hedgehogclub.com/colorguide.html, I'd go through and find all the "ruby" eye colors and see what fits best. There are a few on there. Hope this helps!

His eyes look dark ruby in some lights (not all the time) but then I was told some lights can do that to dark eyes.

If he is Algerian Brown Snowflake Pinto like lizardgirl thinks, it wouldn't be ruby eyes.

I've been told that and cinnacot so ??

Go under some really good white lighting and look at the eyes, you should be able to tell if they are ruby or if they are black. The eye color can make all the difference. I cannot tell from the pictures whether or not the eyes are ruby or black. The one photo that the eye looks extremely ruby, but is it just red eye cause by the photo? On my boy who is a brown snowflake, he has black eyes, and "The eyes have a light blue ring around the outer edges (the sclera)". He is a white belly, not an algerian though.
