I currently have 2 hedgies in one cage. They get along really well and value each other to cuddle with! They are in a 28x17x15.5 guinea pig cage with a hard bottom but wire sides. I am trying to find out if a 150w CHE with a 10" lamp is going to be good enough (there is nothing to trap the heat). What type of thermostat should I get? And brands to avoid?

I realize how important this is, and am trying to do the best by my girls! Thank you for you help!

For the size of your cage, one lamp would probably be enough. But I'd highly recommend getting a larger cage if you're going to house both of them together...Usually the smallest recommended size for one hedgehog is about 4 square feet, and for two hedgehogs in a cage, you need to double the size. You need enough room to give them two of everything - two eating/drinking stations, two beds (at least), and two wheels.
