Hello! First time hedgehog mom here! What kind d of cage do you use? I've heard not to use the wire cages since they are climbers and and fall and hurth themselves. So I thought I'd see what everyone uses!

Hello! First time hedgehog mom here! What kind d of cage do you use? I've heard not to use the wire cages since they are climbers and and fall and hurth themselves. So I thought I'd see what everyone uses!

I know not everyone has space or room for this but, my husband I use a kiddie pool to house our two girls in. Its easy to clean and gives them plenty of space to do their hedgie things. It also allows us to put in a couple different enrichment toys for them like a fleece forest or dig box.
