ok i have 2 hedgehogs (different cages) and 2 cake walk wheels i want to design a cage that is stackable with storage because we dont have much room in our house to do anything else. right now we have to be careful not to fall into the cages. i really like the c&c cages but i cant stack them with the cakewalk wheel. what is a good way to make a stacking cage so that i can have the cakewalk wheels in there? i love the wheels so im not going to get rid of them! any suggestions?

I've been obsessed with other people's set ups so I've seen some like this! In the housing thread (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1860) there is an example on the first page, but there are a lot more as you go through as well. :)

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but I made a multi-level C&C cage that has my hedgie on the top, my russian tortoises in the middle, and storage on the bottom. I used about 5 boxes of storage grids, 2 sheets of coroplast, hundreds of zip-ties, and some pipes from Home Depot for support. To make it taller, each level is 1.5 cubes high (so a CWS should fit). Hard to explain, but you can see photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/drpepperheather/sets/72157618982538430/

I used this site as a reference for coming up with my cage design (check out the enclosed bunny cage section to see the 1.5 cube level idea): http://happycages.com/Links.htm
