Hey guys - took my little lady out tonight and noticed she has a bump on the lower left side under her chin. I’ve seen a lot of posts about swollen areas on/around their mouth but this is almost where the corner of her jaw is, where you would rub under their little chin. It feels almost like a bone “protruding” towards the skin. She’s still eating and being as cute as ever. Hasn’t seemed to have lost any weight and it doesn’t seem to be painful to her. Just curious if you all have had any experience with this? It’s not visible in photos and you can’t really see it by looking under her chin, but you can feel it when you rub the side of her face/chin.

Any lumps/bumps on a hedgehog should be seen by a vet ASAP. Unfortunately hedgehogs are very prone to cancer, and I think it’s best to assume worst case scenario and have a vet check out all lumps as soon as possible - and if it’s nothing, great! But these things need to be assessed as soon as possible for best outcome in hogs.
