Hi!
I recently got my first ever hedgehog (Chloe) and I was wondering which way you brush your hedgehog's quills when bathing?
I thought that you should only brush it the way it grows but I saw online that some people actually brush the opposite way as well...

Hello! And welcome to hedgehog world! For Myself, I brush only the way it grows... I am curious to see what other people have to say for the oposite way??? Verry good question!

I brush the way they grow too. I assumed it would be uncomfortable for the hedgie to do it the opposite way.
I'm intrigued now, hopefully some one can give a proper answer

I brush it the way it grows also. I think the may become uncomfortable if you brushed it the opposite way. I kinda think it would be like brushing your hair the opposite way.

I brush the way they grow, and against the growth, and even side to side, so that I'm sure he gets clean all the way to the skin. I also want to make sure his skin has a chance to absorb and benefit from the emollients in the shampoo, especially if he's quilling or has any other type of skin irritation.
