Heyya,
Today i noticed vex had bloody toenail. There isn't anything in his cage that could have caused it, and he just had them cut on Tuesday and do not look that long.
He was scratching on the inside of his fleecie so that may have caused it.
Anyway, it broke off to a stub, and is red on the inside from the cauterized blood on the inside. He doesn't appear to be in any pain, and it running around like usual, if not more so.
I was just wondering what i should do?
I haven't seen any blood anywhere but on his foot, so it could have been like that when i got him (the old owner just cut his toenails).
Should i put polysporin on it so id doesn't get infected, or should i just leave it alone and watch it daily to see if its growing back?
