Hey yal. Ive had my hedgehog (Barry) for a little over two weeks, which makes him about 10 weeks old. When I got him he had a small amount of dry, red skin behind his ear and above his right eye where the quills begin to form. After an oatmeal bath about 80% of the dryness started to get better, i.e. hair starting growing in, barely any flakes and redness went down. There is still a good amount of dryness under the quills above his face tho. I noticed a piece of dry skin hanging there and lightly brushed it away. It came off extremely easy and left a small blood spot as if I plucked it out. He was not effected AT ALL. Even when I go near it, nothing. I've attached a picture SO PLEASE if anyone has any info I'd like to avoid a vet trip if it's nothing serious. THANKS!! Barry and I appreciate it ;-)

PS I checked for mites and 99% sure there were none. Only had aspen shavings for the past two weeks, but just switched to fleece today.
