I'm so insanely sorry to hear the new about little Eudora. 
I saw this thread yesterday, but didnt comment as I just dont have any experience that could have helped - but I was praying that it was just going to at worst a UTI. My girl - the same age as yours - was diagnosed with mammary cancer a little over two weeks, but luckily we were able to have it removed - but we'll be in a 'wait & see' limbo for rest of her life, hoping that it doesnt come back.
I'm happy to hear that Eudora at least is acting herself and isnt in any pain - and I hope she continues to be that way for as long as possible. Sending many hugs to you.
