I am cutting up fleece for my hedging that will be coming home next month and wanted to know how big i should make her blankets for inside her igloo. I don't know how big they should be or should i have many different sizes for her to burrow in?

I like to use alot of small strips so my hedgies can burrow
By small i mean 2 inches or so wide and 5 inches or so long.

I do strips for inside the Kleenex boxes and then have various sized blankets piled up in the main area of the house to be burrowed into. They seem to play with the strips, I find them all around sometimes, I think they like them.

i bought a ferret fleece blankie for my hedgie Tweasal its 24" L X 24" W it works great !! tons of fabric to have in the iggalo to lay on, to have on top of the hedgie and move around and get comfy in its $8 or so but now i just cut my own fleece blankies for him with the same measurements =]

I usually use hedgie bags, but I have a lot of blankets about a foot by a foot, maybe a bit larger that work too.
