I have a hedgehog named buddy,
recently he must of litteraly sat in his own poo and managed to get it all over his tiny stub of a tail,
I cleaned the cage hoping it may just come off in a couple of days, but its been almost 2 weeks,
Im not sure if hedgehogs like water, and am scared to attempt to find out,
but whats the best way to clean this without hurting buddy or myself?

Just kidding. You can give him a bath, as long as you only use a few inches of water, and keep him warm the whole time. Make sure you supervise well. There are stickies in many categories that can probably help you.

Okay I tried the bath,
and he flipped out and curled into a ball, and I got scared that he might not be able to breathe with his head so close to the water,
I tried the towel Idea aswell having him walk around on it,
and it did clean his feet, but when I tried to get the poo off his tail, it wouldnt come off very easily, and then he curled up again, making it very difficult to clean

How much water did you use? I usually use about an inch, and when we first started bathing him my hedgie tried to ball up, snorted water, and then decided that wasn't a good idea. If you only had a little water to slosh around in for a foot bath, you might try a little more water for a full bath and see if it goes any better.
