Hey everyone! I'm new, I've been doing lots of hedgie investigating and I am getting my first Hedgie either this afternoon or sometime in the next week or two.

Anyways, later on I am going to go and buy all the stuff for the cage that I need, and I was wondering what you guys thought was the best litter for a litter pan to train your hedgie to use a litter pan?

Right now, I'm using Yesterday's News. I just have a little tin pan that I line with a sheet of paper towel, then I have the litter on top of that. It seems to work well with my hedgie and he litter trained quite well, especially since he used the same stuff when he was at the breeder's.

Most stay away from clay litter, as the pebbles could get stuck in bad places.

Though you don't really have to use litter, most just have their hedgies going on paper towels as well. It's really up to the preference of your hedgie.
