I notice you mention your sister has a boy hedgehog. I just want to remind you to keep her well away from him. At her age a first pregnancy would probably kill her. Don't even let them have supervised playtime because mating can happen very quickly.
There is no guarantee even if she were young that breeding her will give you kids of hers to keep. There are so many problems that can happen and every time a breeder breeds a girl, there is a risk of loosing both mom and babies. Breeding can be very expensive should something go wrong. Emergency vet bills can be over $1000 (that's one thousand dollars) for emergency c-sections and the option is you take her to the vet and pay, or she dies. Sometimes she dies anyways.laurennicole said:okay i wont breed her. i wanted to breed her because when she passes away (probably soon because shes old ) i will have one of her kids to keep. but if shes not able to i wont.
I see that now, and I'm glad that you are not going to breed her.laurennicole said:I already said i would not breed her!
