I was thinking about getting a hedgehog, but I was wondering if they don't think there cage is suitable or too small, would the hedgehog start biting the bars?

They're more likely to try to climb the bars than bite them. Both are dangerous for them to do though. Most people either make a safety barrier from cardboard or cloroplast to zip tie to the bars to keep hedgies from hurting themselves. 😊

I've seen people who made a sort of tray that they use in bar cages so the hedgehog's can not reach the bars and harm themselves, maybe you can try making a tray like that?
