I know this has probably been answered several times already but i can't find it anywhere....Are there any dangers associated with feeding crickets that are sold as fishing bait? I wanted to make sure before i feed them to Dora. Thanks in advance and i appologize for asking what may be a very redundant question.

Bait crickets are not raised as FOOD, for other animals. The environment in which they are raised and kept, is not sanitary, and your hedgie could get sick from eating them. It's the same with 'wild' crickets and bugs. Never feed them to your hedgie because you never know where they came from or what they've crawed through (pesticides). Insects raised as food, are raised in a 'controlled environment'. ;)
