I know that we can,t tell the color until 4 month.

But, I would like to know if we can have an idea.

I have 4 babies here and a person would like to choose her baby but she doesn't want her baby getting white. She wants the darker one.

I beleive that they will be dark, but maybe I'll have some snowflake.

Is there a way to know if the baby will be snowflake or will stay dark?

I'd say just guess based on parents. Breeders have to keep babies longer to tell if they're going to become white, or snowflake sometimes.

When we picked up Millie (R.I.P.) She had 0 white quills, By the time she was done quilling she was almost 95% white.

And if the mask and the paws are really dark... could we say that he will be dark.. or a little bit snowflake maybe?

We chose Millie in part due to her dark color. As you can see her color changed a lot in her final quilling....she too had a very dark mask and dark paws...there is no way to really tel untill the final quiling is done.

Really? I thought the pictures were quite obvious. (and Millie was just gorgeous).

What I think you don't understand is that the amount white quills (not pinto, but like snowflake/white) has nothing to do with how dark the skin is. There can be white quills on any color skin. Regardless how dark the mask is, you can't tell if they'll turn out to be snowflake/white until they quill.

Yeah!! I know.. but Shoote is not really white as I could see on the pictures!! :roll:

Ahah!! She wasn't watch over them... she was always to come by me to get some pats!! :lol: I always had to put her beside the babies to take pictures of all!!

But yeah.. she'is a good mom and she is so nice with me when I take a baby.
