So I recently moved to a house with no AC unit. As temperatures heat up I plan on using my evaporation cooler to cool my house down (in my main living area, NOT the same room as my hedgehog). One of my concerns is I usually mix baking soda/vinegar into the water in the evaporation cooler so that algae does not grow in the water and cause funky smells. My only concern is do you believe the fumes given off by the water/baking soda/vinegar mixture could be harmful to my hedgehog in anyway when I take him out of my room and into my main living area to play? I've already seen separate forums on solutions to cool down the room he is housed in so that should not be a concern.
