Eve is very very big! she is huge compared to Walle! i am so happy to have her in my family! i think we are going to get her fixed so that Eve and Walle can play!

That is an awfully intrusive procedure for a POSSIBILITY that they will want to play...They are solitary creatures and aside from breeding there is no purpose to allowing them to be together. Most dont even like the company of another hedgie. And there is also the fact that your male will still know that she is a girl and will still try to breed her, leading to pain and frustration for the both of them. Sounds like a very very bad idea, IMO.

i wasnt going to keep them in the same cage i was just interested in letting them run around the living room together. but if it is really that bad then maybe i wont.

BTW 2 of my girls love to play together in the play pen. Some hedgies like play mates sometimes. They have their own cages, but they play together.
I like to watch them sword fight with the tp tubes! it's funny. :lol: (They don't actually fight)

Yeah I wouldn't do it just so they could play because theres always a risk of losing them when there under anesthesia.

Just means you get more play time with them yourself!

sounds good to me but Walle is making squeaking noises all the time and he spends all of his time trying to get to her. he even abandoned his favorite hiding place so he could sleep closer to her cage. i really need to get a stackable cage made!!!!
