I have a similar reaction when I handle hedgehogs. For me it seems worse when I haven't handled them in a while. Also, it might be my imagination, but I've found that when I wash my hands after handling, the itchiness is soothed by really cold water and made worse by warm or hot water. Best of luck with Turbo.
