Do they really look so deep red, or are they a more tame red? I've seen pictures of them glaringly red and others a tamer reddish-black, any owners of albinos clear this up for me? I am thinking about getting an albino, they are white and look adorable... (save for if they really have glaring eyes!)

Can someone look for a picture of what they really look like is basically what I am asking...

There are different colors of "red" eyes. There is true red, as well as ruby and pink. Different pigments on the face/body (aka color) can determine which the hedgie has.

Oh, that makes a lot of sense. :p I thought it could be like the flash of a camera.... I thought since they lacked pigment they all had the same colored eyes.... because I didn't think there was a different level of lacking pigments.

Thanks for the heads up, so I guess I just have to ask the breeder when I do get a hedgey.
