Yesterday we noticed that Lima had a little hard red spot at the corner of her mouth. After looking closer we saw that she also had a little red spot on her chin. Today the red spot from her mouth is gone which makes me think that it might have just been from some food or something but she hasn't eaten anything red so I'm not really sure about that. The spot on her chin is still there. It looks like a little pimple or something. Unfortunately this happened less than a week after taking her to the vet for a checkup so I was hoping maybe I could get an answer here. We took Lima to our parents houses for Easter so I was thinking maybe she got an allergic reaction to something. It doesn't seem to be affecting her behavior at all.

Thanks for any help

that looks to be just her hedgie bump...lol is there a whisker like hair growing out of it? if so then it is normal, every hedgie has one....if not then watch it for a day or two, if it doesnt go away a vet visit will be needed.

it could also be a ingrown whisker that will take a day to grow out. A little bit of REGULAR STRENGTH (not extra or pain reliever) Poly or Neo Sporin will help to make sure it softens up and the whisker can get through.

The one on her chin is normal, every hedgie has one. Think of it as the extra hairs on a billy goat's chin. :)
