I just got my new girl today. Mizpah was 7 wks old on Wednesday. She is quilling as I can see little quills coming through her skin. She is an Algerian Chocolate or Gray but the new quills coming in are solid white. I know it's the new ones as they are larger than the baby quills she already has. My question is, do they just lose the baby quills or during the quilling process, will she lose the new ones that are coming in now? I wasn't sure if that were the case or if just more and more of the baby quills came out during all the quillings.

On a fun note, Mizpah was probably the first hedgie ever to go to Eskimo Joe's! :p I took my daughter by there to eat and had a hedgie bag/purse that I snuck Mizpah in with us. She slept all snuggled in a fleece blankie while we ate. :)

Thanks

I believe she will just lose her baby quills. And if she's getting in a lot of solid white quills she could turn out to be a snowflake. or even a totally different color since she's only 7 weeks. she won't get her adult color until she's 9 weeks I think.

She is adorable though!!! :D
