Hi everyone!

I tried looking up the normal hedgie quilling cycles but couldn't see anything about an 8 or 9 month quilling. My hedgie Bean has been dropping a significant amount of quills lately. I haven't counted how many quills she drops per day but I could if you think it would be necessary. She all look like healthy quills with the bulb attached.

Her skin is pretty dry and flaky. I Just bought Humilac to treat her dry skin and see if it helps. Her skin does not look red or irritated at all. She is a little itchy because of the dry skin.

She hasn't had a quilling since she was 9 weeks old. She dropped tons and tons of quills during her 9 week quilling. Since then, she has only lost 1 or 2 a day. And now she is dropping so many again! I feel like I find them everywhere.

Is an 8 or 9 month quilling normal??

I've read they quill at 3,6,9 and 12 months! Someone mentioned they actually quill every 3 months for life. We just notice some quilling a more than others!
