Ooh I really like that. Lets hope they still make it...

Chloethehedgie7 Oops! I'm awful at checking the dates. Hm, well I hope my recommendation helps anyone looking at this thread.

Lilysmommy Please check the dates on the original post - this thread is from a year ago & the OP hasn't been on in months. This thread shouldn't have been brought back up a couple months ago, since it can make things confusing for people.

Slava it makes me feel bad when i see hedgies surviving in tiny cages... My boy was in a 4x2 foot cage with a 2nd floor for food and drink but it was still soo tiny he couldn't even run around. Bed bath and beyond 5 minutes from me was selling storage cubes so I built him a cage yesterday..

Ally's_Oliver you're in the pickle where you want a fourth "baby" when your living in a 3 bedroom house. unfortunately, this ultimately means the other kids are gonna suffer. i'm not saying don't get your forth hedgie. just saying wait until you can figure something out with your current three. lots of members on this forum have multilevel c&c cages for housing more than one hedgie. look into this, ask around, get a plan, and once you feel confident, adding to your family sounds like a great idea. renovations first, baby second!

http://www.petco.com/product/113058/...-Pig-Cage.aspx This cage might be something you could use. The only thing is it doesn't look like there's a larger door on the top of the cage, and I can't tell if the front door looks like it'd be big enough to get the wheels in/out. It may be that you'd need to detach the wire part from the metal base to get the wheels out for cleaning, which would mean you couldn't stack them. Still, may be a possibility.

There's also this cage, which some people have used and really like - http://www.petsmart.com/small-pet/ca...pfm%3Dcategory This one would probably depend on how much length the closet has to it. If you only have enough room for two of these, perhaps you could use the cage divider and make it more solid, then put a hedgehog on either side? I know the downsides I've seen from this cage include that the floor is just canvas, so it's hard to move by picking it up if you have everything still in the cage. It's also on the wide side, which could make it difficult to get into the room or get into the cages.

http://www.petsmart.com/small-pet/ca...pfm%3Dcategory Another, may also have stacking possibilities.

http://www.petsmart.com/small-pet/ca...pfm%3Dcategory And another, a little bit shorter if length is a problem with the previous one. Can't tell if the wheels come off or not, so not sure if it could be stacked (or if the front door is large enough to get a wheel out through).

I hope maybe one of those might help, or give you some ideas on what to look for! Let us know the length & height when you have a chance to get the measurements, that may help with suggestions.

thanks for info, This is very useful

Teddi4211 Yeah, I also have to wonder. If you are housing your hedgehogs in "itty-bitty guinea pig cages, that barely have enough room for their wheels and hidey houses", why are you even considering a fourth?

nikki I just have a question, if you don't have enough room to give them bigger cages as it is...why are you getting another one? I would just keep the 3 I have and put the money I saved by not getting a 4th into bigger cages for the 3.
