|rukh_||I am from Romania and to be honest i don't really trust anyone from the zoo here... I was thinking about the heat too because that room was colder. He is back in his usual room now and the temperature is around 26-27°C but he is still really sleepy|

Where are you from? Maybe you can find a vet that is connected to a zoo. Usually they have lots of specialists, especially for exotics.
What kind of heat set up do you have in place and what is the temperature of the cage? If the temp is to low, that could explain his sleeping behaviour.

Mites and laziness
I noticed a few weeks ago that my hedgie is loosing quills and he is making flakes and i understand that means he have mites. The thing is that in my country the vets aren't experimented in exotic pets and they prefere not to get involved. I am trying to search for a good med but i don't know if i will succeed. The other problem that makes me worried is that he is extremely sleepy and he is unactive. I had to move his cage in another room because we had some problems and since then he became super lazy and sleepy and of course he gained weight. I am trying to make him walk but he just goes for a few steps and then sit to sleep. I am concerned something might me wrong and i am so unable to do anything. Can someone help me?
