|shinydistraction||Out of curiosity, what kind of bedding is he on? It really sounds like a vet is necessary just for the leg issue, but I wanted to rule out something simple for the greenness.|

|Lilysmommy||Can you post some pictures? Either uploaded to the forum or linked from a site like photobucket or imgur. Unfortunately a vet is really necessary at this point. Where are you located? Is it a matter of no vets at all or none that typically see hedgehogs?|

Green tint to skin?!?!
My niece got a hedgehog like a year ago and she keeps it in her room. She is supposed to be the sole caregiver for it since she bought him. (Rule from mom and dad) Anyway, today I went downstairs to her room to look for something and I noticed the hedgehog has a green tint to its skin EVERYWHERE. (on its tummy, under its quills, in and on its ears, face, arms, legs etc.) it also looks pale in comparison to pics I looked up on Google. Also he seems to be unable to move its front paw/arm. I dont know if it hurt himself broke it or what. Obviously something's wrong but I don't know what. I gave it food and water and he seems to be eating/drinking just fine. I already took the hedgehog away from her and put him in my room cuz all this must mean she's not taking care of it. I'm worried about him especially since we don't have a vet available anywhere near by. Anyone have any clue what's up?
