|HHRR||Ok thank you for your input. I didn't think it would've been a big deal but now that I've got a response I'll leave her alone. I don't think she's as picky as most mom Hedgehogs I've looked in there a couple of times and she sure hasn't seemed to be bothered by it she knows me very well and is a very well socialized Hedgehog. But I will definitely let her be. I appreciate the help.|

|nikki||No do not change anything or move anything. You need to keep everything the same way right until the babies are weaned. If mom isn't comfortable she would have moved them out of the box herself. You can't even clean the cage until the babies are weaned. There have been cases of moms attacking 5 week old babies because the owner disturbed them.|

Nope, the time to make any modifications would have been before she delivered the babies. Any changes at this point will stress her, likely to the point of cannibalizing the babies.
The thing that will stop you from peeking, is you knowing and choosing to do what is best. It's a willpower thing, not a furniture thing.

Should I move mom and babies?
Right now my mom Hedgehog and her babies are in a decent sized produce box with a flap on the top and shes nesting in the corner I don't know how comfortable this is for her but it looks like it might not be so I was wondering if I should move her and her babies out into a hedgie sack as it could be more warmer and ultimately more comfortable (it will also prevent me from peeking hehe)... If so how would I do that?
