|Christus4||We've decided to go fleece and a litter pan with care fresh under the wheel for potty. If it's a pain later, I'll just use care fresh all around 💕|

|jessv||I love how my hedgies nest in Carefresh bedding I find they are happier and friendlier but it really depends on the hedgie.|

Both are perfectly fine options. Maybe buy a small bag of each if you can, and try half and half to see which you and your new baby prefer?
Like shinydistraction, I would also suggest starting with fleece though if that's at all an option. It's just so much easier to deal with.

|Mariaraz||I use fleece. My little girl is litter trained, that's the only thing I use untreated wood shavings for. I use an extra deep pie pan, lined with paper and shavings...works really well.|

If I was going to use a loose substrate rather than a fleece liner I would go with the carefresh. If for no other reason than it is softer and seems more pleasant to live on.
Eh, I'm just not a huge fan of wood bedding. But I'm also not a big fan of loose bedding. It's messy. Fleece all the way!

I've read all the reviews and it seems like most of the bedding choices are purely based upon the hedgies likes and the owners likes BUT.... That being said... My options are:
Petspick brand natural kiln dried pine bedding
Which would you choose and why?
