New Hampshire- 2 males need to be re-homed

I have two hedgehogs that need to be re-homed. When I got the first male Skullmageddon, he caused slight bumps on my arms even after a bath. That wasn't so bad. My second male Quillo, who is more cuddly, caused a much worse reaction on my skin. I can deal with that, a little soap and water tends to reduce the itching so long as I don't scratch. Recently however my allergy has only gotten worse. I couldn't clean their tanks without sneezing, and yesterday I had a small asthma attack during their cage cleaning.

I would gladly, deal with the itching and sneezing, but not breathing is a bit more than I can handle.

(No adoption fee)Skullmageddon is an albino male I rescued two years ago in March,, I wasn't told his age, but he was quilling at the time and hasn't quilled since, until recently. This may be a sign of something wrong or normal, I don't know, its hard for me to hold him and look, since he tends to bite exposed skin. I love him, and he needs a good home that will give him some time and love. He does settle down with regular handling, but still tends to bite, and only wants to sleep on you. He's a sweet boy, but displays typical hedgehog nervousness. Lately I've been handling him less and less because of my reaction to him. I believe he eats mealworms, but only at night if they are left in his tank. The only food he accepts from my hand are temptations cat treats. He did once eat some honeydew, in front of me. He comes with a (I believe the size is) 10 quart bin from target, and a wheel made by west coast hedgehogs. Its one of the cake cover wheels, you can look them up on facebook. Its a wonderful wheel, I highly recommend them. He has no adoption fee, because of his tendency for biting and being an albino I suspect he may be harder to re-home. However I may ask potential adopters questions (pop quiz) to see if the home is suitable for him. I do not recommend him for a home with children. Because his fee is nothing, I wont just send him off to the first person who calls dibs. I don't want to give him to someone who doesn't have the money to take care of him in the first place. Show me what you know about hedgehogs. If you are a member of this site, and you have previous hedgehogs and forum posts here that will go a long way. I am not giving him to just anyone who wants a free new pet.

(75$ Adoption fee)Quillo doesn't mind if you rub his chin, and he loves meal worms, Crickets watermelon, honeydew, basically most snacks that are good for hedgehogs, he likes. He will happily and greedily eat them right out of your hand. he enjoys exploring and will find every hole or crevice between your couch cushions, blankets, or pillows to explore before he takes a nap.. He came from the Claremont NH, pet and aquarium center. Hi birthday is March 13 2014. He is lovely coloring, somewhere in my profile is a picture of him. If I have the time I will attach it later. Not only is he more friendly, but he is not albino. I want to order him a cake topper wheel from west coast hedgehogs before he gets re-homed. He only has a saucer wheel, at the moment, and I've never been happy with it. I want to make sure he goes to a good loving home. his adoption fee is 75$ I would like to know all about anyone who wants to adopt him, if you are a member of this site and have previous forum posts, and hedgehog experience that will go a long way with me. I need to make sure he goes to a responsible home. If you are just looking for a cool new pet, this is not the one for you. He bit skullmageddon on their first and only meeting together, Hedgehogs are solitary creatures and should be homed separately or with more than enough territory for each hog.

I live close to claremont NH, I will not ship these hedgehogs, they must be picked up. Both have their own travel cases. both come in a 10 quart bin from target. I would like both to come with a cake topper wheel from west coast hedgehogs. I just need to get another wheel ordered and I do not know how long that will take.

I will be posting some information in the Claremont Pet and Aquarium center if they allow me too.

I love my boys and I need to be certain they will go to good homes.

I have contacted the Hedgehog Welfare Society. I am hoping they can find a good home for my babies.
