|Lilysmommy||If your friend doesn't want to handle her directly, that's probably fine, but I would make sure they're willing to at least wake her up and check her over visually each night to make sure there's nothing that seems off (lethargic, visible injuries, etc.). I agree with Desiree though, I would make sure your friend knows how to handle her, just in case there's a situation that comes up requiring it.|

If you decide to do this, make sure you have a meet and greet with your friend and your hedgehog. He needs to know how to handle her in case of an emergency. Also, leave something of yours in the cage for her to smell while you are gone. I would leave a care sheet for your friend, about food, water, wheel, ect.

Hi I've had my baby hedgie for about a week and a half now but tomorrow were leaving to go camping just for 3 days will it be ok if a friend comes and watches her. Not take her out of her cage just check her food and water and maybe clean her wheel if it needs to be done.
