Just a runny nose.

For the past three days, Nymeria has uncurled from her ball in my hands and her nose has a clear drip on it. I don't hear her really sneezing (maybe once or twice in the past couple days?), and so far that's the only symptom I can see. I'm planning on taking her in anyway just to see, but is this cause for concern?

I'm just worrying a bit, especially since I'm going to be out of town this weekend. (I have someone who will feed her and everything)

Thanks!

If you can take her to a vet, you could be catching a URI at a very early stage, which is far better than coming home to a hedgehog with pneumonia!

But, it could also be dust, or allergies, or... If you were going to be home to monitor her and see if it got better or worse, it'd be less concerning. But it does seem like hedgehogs are masters at waiting until the vet is closed and any visits are going to be expensive after-hours emergencies before they show serious symptoms.

If you have a few days to keep an eye on things: what sort of bedding is she on? Is it something that could potentially be dusty? Are there any other dust or allergen sources nearby that could be provoking her? Strong scents?
