You're right. I don't know that they don't have a hedgehog, but it's their first post on the forum, and there is nothing to indicate that they have. Especially when they only talk about researching. Also, if they already had a hedgehog from a breeder, they'd probably know a breeder to talk to. But that's all irrelevant really.
Whether or not they have a hedgehog or not, you (meaning anyone) shouldn't consider breeding until they have owned a hedgehog. Why would you get into breeding them if you hadn't?

im on a positive note:
i wish you well and may you have a great hedgie farm in the future... i am also new with this hedgehog fever here in Manila. so far everything is going smoothly with me. One thing I could suggest is to thoroughly do some research first. so that you are already equipped with ideas about them when you start. you seem to be a good researcher. everyday you would be learning new things about them and its also endless but exciting!
You seem to have a good plan of having 2females and 1 male! keep it up and go forth!

To the OP: I wish you the best of luck. I'm not sure if we have breeders specifically in your area, but I'm sure someone will help answer your questions.

If you've never had a hedgehog as a pet, I would not recommend breeding them.

Hello hedgie friends,
We are from KS and looking for licensed breeders/mentors. We have been researching hedgies for awhile now and would like more information on breeding and lineage of hedgies before we decide to buy breeding stock. We are thinking we would like to start with 2 females and 1male unrelated of course. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
