Re: New Tree Dome Cover!

I finally got my wish. Someone asked me to make them a cupcake dome cover. Best of all, a RAINBOW cupcake! With chocolate cake, pink icing, sprinkles, and a strawberry on top!

Well thank you! I just thought a cactus would be clever considering that hedgehogs have spins too. Also I think that a short round cactus would still be cute. You can't just make any plant into the right shape for a dome, but I think a cactus would work!

Re: New Tree Dome Cover!

Your dome cover went into the post today so it should arrive in 5-7 business days or less. I hope you like it! Now that I have finished the two domes I set out to make, I can make new stuff. I was thinking of making a hedgie doll. Not sure yet how I'd make it, but I'm thinking...

Yes, Anna, I am waiting for someone to ask me to make them a cupcake dome cover. I would love to do that. I would make one for Poggles, but he is too manly for a cupcake dome cover Especially one with a cherry on top, hee hee!

Marie, you are a genius. Those rainbow dots look amazing. They do look like candies.

Here's another finished dome cover. This one has a rounder top, no grass on the bottom, and a multitude of rainbow dots on the top. It reminds me of candy...

I was going to order the igloo online, but shipping doubles the price for me since I'm in Canada. PetSmart here didn't carry the igloo so I had to find it in a tiny local pet shop.

Poggles finally went into the new dome. He seems to like it just fine, but he doesn't use the tunnel entrance. He just noses his way under the side. Funny boy...
