Re: Is this ok?

I use water straight from the tap, fresh daily or in the summer morning and night. Water that sits out can go bad quite quickly so if you feel the need to have it sit before giving it, make sure you keep it refrigerated.

Filtered water is fine, distilled water is not recommended because it lacks many minerals we need as CourtneyFaye mentioned.

I give Link filtered water from the fridge. Even though his bowl is full when I take it to give him something fresh, he goes nuts for the super cold water from the fridge!! He is still getting used to his bowl though and sometimes gets over eager and dips his nose a little too far and I laugh and he gets mad.

I read that distilled water is bad for them Apparently distilled water doesn't give them all the nutrients they get from normal water!

Not totally if you do a google search on health and tap water you will see the concern and some areas are much worse then others you can usually figure it out however speaking from when i went on a few road trips I could literally taste metal or something like rust in some places in the country so its important to factor in cause their bodies are so much smaller

Okay i just wanted to be extra safe. Cuz i do know for a fish tank you have to leave it out for 24-48 hours. Im probably just going to get a jug of distilled for her, thank you!

Re: Is this ok?

As long as it's filtered you shouldn't have to leave it out. Or you can always just get distilled water as well

Is this ok?

For water i just fill up a pitcher of our filtered water we have in our house, than i leave it out for 24hrs before giving any of it to her so that all chlorine is evaporated. I was wondering if this is fine to do or should i just be giving her the water rite away instead of leaving it out? just wanting to be extra careful, Suede is new. thank you
